The confirmation email does not say anything at all about how much the room will cost.
i feel like I’m losing my mind. I booked online, pressed confirm and got a confirmation email. But that email doesn’t say anything about the deal we just agreed on.

the room rate is in the confirmation emails i get. It is not in the 'see you soon' emails
Under the dates of the stay in the confirmation email is a section 'your room information' that includes info like :
Your Rate Information BEST AVAILABLE RATE Rate per night
25-Nov-2023 - 26-Nov-2023 xxxx.00 ZAR
26-Nov-2023 - 27-Nov-2023 xxxx.00 ZAR
Total for Stay per Room Rate xxxx.00 ZAR Total price for Stay xxxx.00 ZAR
Room Plan: KING HILTON GUEST ROOM

No idea why your confirmation email would not have this.
i had 2 stays in october where i got a second email about a week before my stay that looks like a confirmation email but does not have the rate info. This email starts 'see you soon' and does not have the confirmation number in the title.
For me, the emails with the confirmation number in the title have the room rate info.
