There has been a 15% strengthening of the Thai Baht compared to both US and Cdn dollars in the last 2 months. So not only are we dealing with unusually high prices, the conversion to North American currencies has changed significantly.

Hello from a fellow Torontonian! Good to see you on the Marriott BKK thread on FT.

It's been sometime since my last trip to BKK - would you recommend the St. Regis or Marriott Marquis (or any other Marriott property) for a long-ish stay at BKK (about 10-14 days)? Most important as a Titanium are Suite upgrades, breakfast , good gym and a decent lounge.

FT'ers -- would love to know your inputs as well on the above question! Thank you!!

P.S.: margarita girl -- I believe we met at the 2015 Detroit Seminars - if my memory serves, I think I and a fellow FT'er were assisting you in getting your UA itinerary changed via the 1K line.
