I stayed at Hotel Indigo French Quarter in October and will definitely consider staying again next time I'm in New Orleans. I was going back and forth between Hotel Indigo and Kimpton Fontenot and ultimately decided on Hotel Indigo due to the location and price. Hotel Indigo is a quick walk to Bourbon Street but far enough away to relax. I walked past Kimpton Fontenot on the way to lunch one day and the immediate location felt like a quiet downtown business district compared to the lively area Indigo is next to. I noticed we were upgraded to a (huge) Balcony room in the IHG app about 30 days before arrival -- I usually stay at Hilton so this was a nice surprise being upgraded so early.
