I started the challenge 4/12/23, almost to the end of Phase 2 with EP currently and met requirements for Phase 3, to keep EP until 4/12/24.

Based on anecdotal evidence in this forum it doesn't matter, your status will be good through March 31, 2025 either way, but you'll know for sure one you start Phase 3 and the promotion page will say something like 'Earn Loyalty Points to meet the goal by Apr 12, 2024 and unlock status until Mar 31, 2025.' Speaking of that anecdotal evidence ...

I don't believe there is any reason to believe that what you have said the promotion page tells you is incorrect, you will only get status through March 31, 2025 whether you qualify in the standard qualification year or the ISP qualification year. The only report I've seen is that the cutoff is October 31st/November 1st for when ISP would get you status for the following year instead of the same year as standard qualification.
