it really is a dreadful experience. Make sure you arrive in plenty of time because you can expect a good 45 mins waiting in a queue regardless of cabin.
Border staff across the world are not the friendliest especially in Europe but Saigon takes it to another level.
Made it through immigration at SGN in 12 mins, landed 07:15, first out the door, a flight from India had landed so there was a bit of a queue at each counter but not too bad. Once the economy pax arrived, the queue got bad, so just gotta outrun them. Did not encounter any unfriendliness. No photos or fingerprints were taken, pretty plain and simple experience.
