I need a second room for 3 adults who will be staying on the same dates as me. I can apply a club access award to this booking or make a GOH reservation using points. Would one method have a better chance of the hotel granting club access for all 3 guests? Anyone with experience with booking for 3 guests for this property?

Rates for 3 adults are quite similar to my valuation of Hyatt points so I would prefer to make a cash booking (as I will earn base points on both rooms that count towards lifetime tier qualification) and apply the club access award. Understand that chances of an upgrade is lower vs GOH and also the second room will not have 4pm checkout.
