The location of HKGCT is slightly far away from the fireworks but you may still catch a glimpse depending on your room type. It has easy access to the MTR and local bus routes so transport isn't a problem. You could walk on the North Point promenade right outside which is quite nice.
Do note that the property gets a lot of WoH elites and is quite busy so upgrades may not go to the highest room category.
