I always stop in for a coffee or a quick snack on arrival with my Alaska Lounge Plus membership and have never had an issue. I do the same at Admirals Clubs and have never had a problem there either.

I was also able to do this when flying on a first-class ticket in the old days, so I'm surprised there are limitations for OW status holders.

Edit: It's a no from the OW lounge info page "Access is available on the day of travel (or before 06:00am the following day), at the airport from which the oneworld flight on which the eligible customer is travelling departs"
