I am booking OD197, which is Batik Air Malaysia flight from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland. It has a stopover (1h55m) in Perth. Same plane, dropping off some pax, picking up others.

Would a person be able to get off the plane and stretch their legs in the gate area? Those whose final destination is Perth would have to go through immigration, but presumably those who go on to AKL can go down the "international transfers" corridor and back around to the gate. Would they have to go through security, etc. Perhaps this is a better question for the Australia/Perth Airport forum.
