Different experience here than some. Just finished a 3-night stay over a very snowy weekend. Found the staff (reception and restaurant/bar) to be pleasant and helpful. We had a high floor corner room that was spacious and well-appointed. Public areas of the hotel are also nicely appointed. Globalist breakfast in the restaurant was perfectly adequate and we weren't charged for specialty coffee drinks.

Only hitch is that we were charged for parking despite not having a car. In process of resolving that.

We're walkers, so we didn't mind being on the edge of the tourist areas of the Vieux Port and Old City. Had no trouble walking to and from Place-des-Artes area as well. Didn't venture as far as Downtown district.

If you're not a walker, I can see that the hotel location is very not Metro-convenient.

Would definitely stay here again.
