Guys, I might need your help and to be reassured. I will be in Dubai over NYE and trying to find way home. Since I accepted a job offer since second half of January that will not require flying and I will be extremely limited with free time I am trying to find the best solution of getting home. We will be 2 but I am happy to send my girl in Smartwings economy.

I might fly LP on FB reward DXB-CDG-MEX, making free stopover in CDG and using MEX sector for spring holidays. Obviously I want to continue the very same day to PRG/VIE using my Virgin points for business class with AF. So, 2 different reservations and one luggage to check. I believe the baggage wont be issue, if not given directly in DXB to PRG/VIE I will have plenty of time in CDG to pick up and re-check. What about LP salon? Shall I send an email to LP that I am on LP flight but do have another tix on AF metal? Since I am basically paying 241 because DXB-PRG and PRG-MEX on two separate LP reservations would be double the price if not more.

How would you proceed?
