That's how it is. You used to stand out in the office before 6 p.m. without a tie (you were asked if you were on holiday), but nowadays you can hardly see a tie. Even in court today, almost more lawyers don't wear a tie than do. It is what it is.....
I even have a bow tie because a dinner jacket doesn't look very good with a tie. I just don't have a practical opportunity to wear a dinner jacket anymore.
