Just to clarify - Chinatown area is several city blocks. Daiso is located at Chinatown Point mall, basement level 2, exits G and E from Chinatown MRT, intersection of Cross street and New Bridge rd.
One more heads up - customer support to find something at malls and inside shops is mildly speaking - not great. Especially at Daiso where you can't really get an answer where to find a particular item from 10000 stuff offered there. Magnets usually are at stalls/vertical shelves next to the entrance.
