Flying is really not a very good way to get miles for the most part, especially if you don't already have status.
Aadvantageeshopping has Barron's and USA Today for aroun $2 month...cancel after 46th day. Each offers 1200 miles/LP and post in 2 to 3 days

2nd Edit - Sorry, it was Wall Street Journal, not USA TODAY, that posted quickly along with Barron's. I did order USA TODAY as well for 1200 but has not posted yet.
