I had a situation where the FAs weren't doing a service and I rang the call button to request a drink. The FA told me they weren't doing a service. When I pointed out that I flew the route often and there was always a service before, her response was "Are we going to have a problem here?" Not wanting to escalate, I let it ride. Did I complain to CS and EXP Liaison? You bet. Did it do any good? Highly doubtful. But, while rare, it does happen that FA.s will escalate when you ring the call button.
