How do I confirm AWD / 4WD vehicle?
I need to rent an AWD vehicle for a ski trip to Tahoe because regular boraxo SUV is in the shop due to tow truck negligence.
When I go to all the rental websites all I get are various sizes of SUV but none specifically confirm 4WD/AWD. In fact I expect this will be an even bigger problem here in California as opposed to DEN/SLC where such vehicles are more common.
How can I confirm an AWD?
(not just an Avis issue but posting here because I get the best rates from Avis)
