No, not at all. I constantly use the term organically to indicate that all the miles I have accumulated were done so via business trips or via personal trips. I have never gone out of my way to acquire a credit card or other means beyond flights to accumulate the points. I guess it never occurred to me to do so. If what I have needed to purchase generated any such thing then fine, but I have never gone to purchase a service or buy something because of the potential to have points.

My departure from LAX connects in Phoenix. The start of the departure from Phoenix is 7:30PM on February 29. The leg from Phoenix back to DCA leaves at 1AM on 1st March. Doesn't this change the allocation of points somewhat? I.e Since the return journey actually begun on 29th February, shouldn't the points for the all the legs be allocated to 2023?
