While the public area was beautiful, some puzzling room design choices for a hotel of this calibre. Shower did not have a door which means some water will inevitably leak out of the shower (wet marble flooring is just an accident waiting to happen). There was no bar or hook of any kind to hang a towel in the bathroom. Some rooms faces and looks directly into the condo next door. It’s so close that you can peer into the units and vice versa so privacy is an issue.

The service felt very unpolished as well. Lots of inexperienced staff. The person holding the main door didn’t even try to smile for instance.

With hotel rates softening due to weaker tourist arrivals, their asking rate of sgd 800++ is simply way too high.
