I've stayed in the LeMeridien this past summer and it was nice. No upgrades as a platinum, lounge was open but sparse food offerings. The breakfast was very good though and did get that due to status. Had a massive and varied mix of western and Chinese dishes.

It was a little out from the city centre so had to taxi around.

So I'd happily stay there again but no massive expectations. Maybe better the devil you know?
