Annoyed that Piccadilly line chaos put paid to my plan of a nice leisurely tour of the Christmas menu in the CCR. Then I see that someone has taken the entire bin above my seat with 3 bags…the cheek of it 😂 So I sit down in 2C on the 736 to Geneva. And then my seat mate in 2A comes back from the loo and it’s none other than Sir Jackie Stewart! Had actually met him a few times over the years (my folks live on la Côte) not that he remembered. Had a nice chat and then let him sleep. Then spent half an hour at the gate waiting for jetbridge to get fixed. Overheard him chatting with his handler in row 3 and apparently he’s having beans on toast for his tea…we Scots stick to our roots.
