The problem with international itineraries on delta.com has been discussed. But this goes beyond the "other than DL metal" problem. Case in point: I fly FRA-PNS or FRA-ORF several times a year, all on DL metal. I can't book these trips on delta.com -- much as I would like to -- because I have an American credit card! That's right, your credit card has to be from the country of origin
So now I get to pay
45 Euros per ticket extra for someone on the telephone at FRA to be oh so kind as to sell me their tickets because the stupid web site won't! And that times 5 for the whole family.
Hey Cholula -- next time some retailer calls you for a few hundred cases, tell him you would be happy to fill the order, but as part of the Cholula Purchasing Enhancement Programme, it will now cost $5 / case extra to order by phone. You think that would fly?
