I will be in Hong Kong this New Years Eve which is great except that I just planned it last minute. It's my first time in Hong Kong and I really wanted to stay at the Grand Hyatt because I heard such great things about it. But the prices are outrageous for New Years. So right now I have a reservation on New Years at the Centric. Has anyone ever stayed at the Centric over New Years? Can I see fireworks from the hotel? Is it easy to get around from there on a busy night? The other possibility is the Regency Tsim Sha Tsui but it's also super expensive. Any advice for NYE?
