In the second photo, you can see the pocket in the back corner of the window, the latch is hidden in there. I have a Tesla at home, so hunting for hidden door handles and their quirky usage is easy for us. The wheels were large, but the car sits very low, so anyone taller than about 5'8" is going to need to squat down to get in and out, or risk hitting their head.

Also the gas mileage wasn't the best, even considering how much time the "EV" light was on while cruising in town.
