It's an issue with the new slimline F seat, not only on the MAX. There's sometimes too much play on the slide part of it, so the table sits slightly crooked when you go to put it away or take it out, and then you can't move it.

I find it easiest to use both hands, one front and one back, and slightly wiggle it along whichever way it needs to go.
