When I book travel, I always click the details button during booking and look at the PQF/PQP earnings. There are many codeshare partners that do not earn PQF/PQP.
That, however, is frequently very very wrong. Several list zero after booking and then they credit just fine (as they should). On the other end, UA gets confused and thinks codeshares credit as UA flights, but they don't if the underlying partner class does not earn.
So YMMV in both directions. Not an ideal scenario, unless you are a pro w/ codeshare mapping ... always good to ask here for advice
