Ah well, as I have already done that quite some time ago, I do not have an exact recollection of the process ... LL has somewhat of a guide, perhaps you can have a look there (
https://loyaltylobby.com/2023/06/02/...n-5000-hotels/), what is important is that you need to click on yes / agree / accept / allow / etc. for all prompts that you get through the process of enabling the feature in the app.
(PS The comments that follow below are based on iOS experience, I have no Android devices)
I am sure you have probably done that, however when you are in the app and go Account, then Settings and scroll down to App Settings, there is a tick sign in a green circle?
Another place to check is if you go to Settings, then Wi-Fi and click on Edit, a list of known networks will open - you should be seeing "passpoint.edge.igh.com" there? (if not, the problem is clear)
If you would like, you can try a reset as well - just do the following:
- delete the known network I mentioned above from the list and confirm at the prompt that you would like to remove it from Keychain
- disable the feature in the IHG app
- delete fully the IHG app
- completely shut down your phone
- start the phone, then go to the app store, install the latest version of the IHG app and log in
- go to the Setting (see above at the start for guidance) and enable Wi-Fi Auto Connect (follow the LL guide), in particular make sure you positively confirm all prompts that come up during the process
- once finished, go back to the known networks in the Wi-Fi settings and the network mentioned above should be there and you can test it next time you are at an IHG property
If the above does not work, I am not sure what may be the problem - my technical versatility unfortunately ends here ... Ultimately you can also contact IHG and see what they have to say (but do not hold too high hopes that this will result in a positive outcome ... I mean, let us not forget why it was so easy for IHG to be hacked earlier this year ...)
