I'm thinking about downgrading the Amex Brillaint card ($650 fee) to the Amex Bonvoy card ($95 fee) after the 85k cert posts next year. I looked at my travel pattern and unless I get a retention offer (which I doubt I will), I don't think the Brilliant card works for my household anymore.

Will I get partial AF back after I downgrade? $650 is a bit hard to digest after all the stealthy deval in the last two years.
