Coming to the end of my membership year and keen to preserve some jokers. Will preemptively issue tickets to modify later. Two questions based on this:
1) If I issue as a one way, can I always (within ticket validity) modify this + add a return?
2) Am I able to change the origin as well? E.g. If I book LHR-AMS but then change to NYC-LHR--is this possible or any watch outs?

Keen to tie up least amount of avios but preserve max flex...
