I thought I would create a thread for relatively minor updates.
Friday 8 December: BA resumes SZG and INN services
Terminal 5 will resume services to Salzburg and Innsbruck from T5. INN is of course one of the more scenic landings on the network, and SZG isn't bad either, more on the approach. INN Kranebitten has 1 service on Friday, 2 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday. SZG a single service Friday/Saturday/ Sunday. Other services to both locations are from LGW.
Somewhat off topic, but may be available to Avios bookings:
LATAM Peru have started their first non-stop service Lima to LHR as of Saturday. Five times weekly service from T3 and they are using a B789 for this. BA operated the only other direct service, via LGW before 2020.
I wish they would (re) start LHR-INN as a summer service. A surprisingly tricky place to get to, often left with a choice of either direct train from ZRH or 2 trains from MUC instead. (flying from Scotland)
