Does anyone have any recent experiences of Bariloche vs El Calafate and in particular Llao Llao Hotel or Las Balsas vs EOLO ? We are looking at an Argentina trip in early Dec 2024 and would like to visit both but due to time restrictions can likely only visit one alongside BsAs and Iguazu Falls. EOLO looks unmissable as a property but Bariloche as an area could have more to do.
Never been to Bariloche, and my experience isn't recent, but we loved Eolo (although food was not a strength). The setting was mesmerizing, and the surrounding scenery nearby is absolutely iconic. To me Barilouche seems like more of a regional destination.
