Yeah no idea. Perhaps a weird Silicon Valley “we build this because we can” thing, or a weird Virgin brand thing.
For those west coast hops, give me a reliable and robust schedule, reasonably comfortable seat and a decent fare and I am happy. It’s transportation, not an entertainment venue.
