Has anyone had luck making this work? I have several devices (laptop, iPads and iPhone) and as far as I know I've enabled it. But it never works, it always asks for passwords. I have the app on my mobile devices and can't get autoconnect to work. When I try on my laptop, it asks for "Account name" and "password" - even when I'm logged into IHG. Screenshot attached.

I have not tried logging in with my IHG account NUMBER as that's not the account NAME.
When I enabled it (and it shows in my account as enabled) I didn't expect to have to log in with an account name.
Any ideas? I still connect through their free wi-fi when I'm in their hotels (like now) so it's not like I can't get on. But autoconnect was touted as a new feature and I can't use it.
