May I add that from Siam BTS you can cross the platform to the Silom Line going to National Stadium which is one stop from Siam and it terminates there and you are right in MBK.
yes it is 200 meters walking distance from National stadium (after changing the line and going one station further) versus 500 meters from Siam BTS without having to change the line.
as the OP claimed to like to walk around and the 500 meters from Siam BTS are more interesting than the 200 meters from National Stadium I kept it simple
