I have had the Spark Plus about 6 months, was able to get and spend for the 120K bonus. But then they came up with this much better offer and card. I have the personal version already. From reading some of the blogs, seems no way to get this X bus card having the Spark Plus. I tried when the card first came out but denied it seemed because of the "similar" card type. So, since I've already got the other Spark Business credit card and a high credit limit and don't need the Spark Plus I cancelled the card yesterday. And applied today for X bus. Was rejected, for the same reason as before.

What is the waiting period needed to apply after cancelling the "similar" card type? I called C1 before cancelling to find out and was told that cancellation is immediate and I shouldn't have to wait, obviously wrong information.
