Edit - I see what you mean now about Aerolopa.... Just ignore the bit about game changer J seats. They are just lie flat seats.
Hmm, something is still not adding up.
The 77W with 6F seats is showing the same configuration in J as the 77W with 8F -- 6 rows of 2-3-2, with the same number of Y rows between the back of J and the lavatories in front of doors 3L/R. So if these seats are lie-flat, it seems Emirates found a way to do that with the exact same pitch as the previous angled-flat seats? Aerolopa also indicates that there are 77Ws that have been reconfigured with full flat business class but still have the 8 old F suites. Is that incorrect?
Then I see that on the 772LRs, which is reported to have been reconfigured with full flat (but no F), the fully-flat seats are 2-2-2. None of the 77Ws are 2-2-2 in J - is that true, even for these new seats?
I guess what I'm really trying to figure out is - how can I tell from an ExpertFlyer seat map if I have angled flat or full flat in J, if there are 8F seats. Does that definitely mean angled-flat and there is not, in fact, an 8F config with full flats like Aerolopa notes?
But I suppose even if the seat map today indicates full flat, the chance of a substitution is high, so if I must fly full flat, I should choose another airline.
