Admittedly, this is on my wish list. It just seems to make sense to me.

The West coast has always been a lunching pad to SE Asia, and this would be a great start. As an SFO flyer, no issues taking a ferry flight to SEA, just as I had no qualms with AA's ferry to LAX/DFW before the trek to SE Asia. Moreover, given the average J prices, they can charge anywhere from $3,000 - $5,000 RT, which I'd imagine would be a considerably higher yield than any TCON or HI flight. So, why not try it? We in West would love more options and AS may potentially be rewarded with some high yield routes with, I'd image, some industry best gross margins. Finally, in my view, yields and demand to SE Asia from the US West Coast will only increase, and AS could be in position vie for a piece of this pie.
