I fly BWI to CLT about 1 to 2 times a month. I don’t know what’s been going on this past year but it seems as though we get drink service less than 50% of the time these days.
I’m currently on 1495 and the flight attendants didn’t even get up. No announcements on turbulence and it has been smooth the whole time. I’m in Main Cabin but First isn’t being served either.
On 1268 on the way down yesterday they at least used the it’s going to be bumpy and had the FAs seated the whole time. It ended up being mostly smooth.
I get it’s 55 minutes in the air with a full A320 or 737 but don’t list the flight as having beverages of they’re not going to even make an attempt.
Didn’t see anyone with PDBs in first either, and we had plenty of time.
i don’t recall seeing this happen on DCA-CLT near as much.
But they had time to do the credit card spiel.
Many of the mainline FAs are quiet striking over the labor negotiations. Use the FA call button to ask for service, and write in to AA after each flight to complain. We need to document FA laziness, especially during this period.
