The only time I ever tried (rented) Canada Goose jackets when I went to Yellowknife, NWT in a January several years ago. It was -38 (C or F, doesn’t matter) and the jacket worked well. And the northern lights were magical. But living in the S.F. Bay Area, I wasn’t tempted to actually buy one.
