I was hoping (for my spouse especially) for some rice, miso and a piece of fish like a typical Japanese breakfast usually offers while this looks more like Western choice. I will check some reports on Tripadvisor and such platforms. As you said, worst case, we buy something or go outside or rather for a good lunch and have a light breakfast only as great food is plentiful all around (no Starbucks for us, too many good Japanese coffee places to be preferred ).

Interesting that WOH members get breakfast for 2 (my booking is for 2 guests) while non-members only get 1 by default, this never occurred to me, anyways ... Definitely I would not pay 10k++ JPY more for the HC with a breakfast inclusive rate. Currently, we are booked into the Kitchen Studio Twin in the HH on a discounted corporate rate of ~21.5k JPY/ night all in (incl. service & tax)

My other option for the stay would be the (well aged) ANA Crown Plaza where our corporate discount rates are similar and I can get free breakfast as Diamond benefit (or even rate inclusive) and possibly a decent upgrade, but location of HH near JR station and the much newer + more generous size room + laundry facilities onsite swayed me to the HH.
