1. Not clear what you meant: two business class flights (SFO-TPE and TPE-KUL)?
2. UA has a lot of passengers on your flight to re-accommodate. Computer automatically did it. You can always call reservation to change it if you have better options available.
3. Upgrades for the upcoming flights were cleared automatically within T-36 h unless UA manually stopped that process. So, this may not be a valid complaint.
4. As said above, computer did it. Reservation agent can change it after you call.
Finally, you will get on NH flights to TPE and KUL. I am curious why you cannot rebook SFO-NRT-KUL.

I am too tired. So lots of typo.
1. dropping 2 classes on longest leg.
2. I understand rebooking has strong preference. But it’s just kind of bad experience.
3. may be not 7 was cleared as upgrade during my stop in ANC. But I know 3 were. Because the 3 same name was cleared on original 853
4. I originally wanted NH107 and NH885 ( which means I would get like 18 hours in Tokyo).
But United agent said no. Must take 855. So I didn’t want to argue.
SFO HND has the business class suites which is much better than narita
This was end of the year MR for me to keep status. After getting to KUL- I dead head back to Tokyo then to Rome via ICN.
