Hmm. Maybe I can re-word what I am trying to say.

I am the certificate holder. The two kids would get the Companion tickets. Mrs. Rossodio would be an additional paid passenger. I would not expect either of the kids to be on the list for complimentary upgrade - just myself and Mrs. Rossodio. If I understand you correctly above, this would all be compatible with that.

If not, just looking for clarification. I could just book all of us in MCE and not expect complimentary upgrades if that is the case. Would all four of us still be Group 1, priority bag handling, free checked bags, etc. if booked together this way? I would be booking with the silver card itself, for what it's worth, so at least (even with companion certif) I would expect a single checked bag for each of us since we would all be on the same PNR.
