Hey there! All of the terminals at LAX now connect without having to re-clear security which is great! It's quite a walk from the alaska terminal to the international terminal but 2 hours should be plenty of time. In terms of checking in separately, if it's all booked together on one ticket, you shouldn't have to re-check in!
