UA853 12/3- United airport control is really pathetic (Irrops recovery from medical)
So after my 11 hour flight to nowhere.
I am really amazed by United airport control team.
i understand medical diversion happens.
But sometime you really have to wonder what UA is thinking.
1. Does it make sense to drop 2 paid classes for 1k?
2. If that isn’t bad enough, after 11 hours in the air, does it make sense to turn around in less than 2 hours on UA871 in economy?
3. What is more interesting is that 871 cleared 9 upgrades to business class, does United know that passengers can see the upgrade list?
4. Most amazing is that dropping from P to S?
Does UA really think customer is that dumb?
I was able to rebooked via HND and I can try th NH suite after chatting with United agent after SF airport control released ticket.
But seriously speaking who in the right mind would do this and think customer wouldn’t be pissed off.
