Even before T5, BA always operated the MIA flights from T3. Not sure why just MIA back in the day but I’m sure one of the very knowledgable people on here will be able to answer that.
This came up in another thread recently, and it was said that BA wanted a presence in T3 to keep an eye on what Virgin were planning!
