I went to Japan last year and stayed at Park Hyatt Tokyo and Kyoto. It was amazing, and I’d love to have another great trip like that.
I currently have flights booked to JNB in September, but I’m not sure that South Africa is going to be a great Hyatt experience. I’m also considering Korea, India, and Thailand/Saigon. Anywhere else that should be in the mix? I don’t want to spend two weeks on the beach anywhere, but I wouldn’t mind a few days of beach combined with something else. Thanks for your ideas!
Thailand hands down.Personally I find Vietnam to be similar to Thailand but with less developed tourist infrastructure. From Chiang Mai in the mountainous north, amazing Bangkok in the center, and the stunning Islands in the south you can experience the cream of SE Asia there.
Australia doesn't even come close. Australians vacation in Thailand en masse, not the other way around.
