That's not what "marketing carrier" means.

The marketing carrier is the carrier in the flight number.

The operating carrier is the carrier with their logo on the plane

The ticketing carrier is the airline that issued the ticket

All 3 can be different (though it's rare). To answer your question, no, the ticketing carrier is not relevant.
