Overall, I see this as being a great marriage between AS and HA. Selfishly, I hope this merger results in launching new long-haul leisure markets in Asia, with HNL as the connecting hub to multiple secondary US cities.
Could we finally see DPS from the US? Without any direct DPS-TYO feed like other Asian cities, this seems to be the best example of a long-haul flight which could work well for the combined carrier.
