Thanks to all who responded, I think it was likely just the doc check, we went to a Kiosk, checked in, scanned the passport, no issues. We went to the airport way too early, (3hr as suggested by SAS for international departure) . No line to drop our checked bag, no line to clear security. (TSA Pre). About 2 hours to wander around until boarding.
