I just flew Mokulele last week and asked the lady if I could get AS miles and she looked at me with a blank stare. I honestly have no idea what the "relationship" even is. The only thing is I sometimes see some ridiculous routing off of Maui through HNL via Mokulele. At that point one would be far better to just hop over on WN or HA (something I do somewhat frequently). Price is usually < $40 one-way, there are no crazy baggage restrictions/fees and I'm airside when I land (Mokulele as a commuter airline you don't go through TSA).
It's funny because I've actually taken advantage of this, but not in Hawaii. It was for ORD-MKG on Southern Airways Express (Mokulele's parent company). I needed to get to GRR and Alaska's website offered this as an option.
I agree though - I would have liked to have seen AS do something with Mokulele... but oh well, this is a better option anyway!
