Probably safe to assume AS is already on the phone with Boeing to see how many more 787s they can get on the books if the deal goes through. The A330s wouldn't go anywhere in the short term, and I'm sure AS would love to turn some of their SEA-HNL 737 turns into A330s to further strengthen their grip around DL's neck in the PNW.
But I have to wonder how HA's Amazon Prime Air contract plays into this. If they can get more 787s on the books, would they work to convert the owned A330s to freighters? If they can't get more 787s, do they work to go all-Boeing for narrowbodies while opting for A330-NEOs to stay Airbus for long haul? Or is the Amazon contract in flux anyway if AAG takes over HA? I don't know a thing about cargo flying, but I thought I'd bring it up since nobody was talking about it.
